Questions about cacao

  • We don’t buy our cacao “ready-to-drink”.

    As the first and only cacao maker in Scandinavia we make our traditional drinking cacao from bean to beverage in Copenhagen.

    We buy sun-dried, heirloom cacao beans from our dear friend and local farmer Daniel South on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Then we hand-sort, roast and grind the beans into 100% pure, ceremonial grade drinking cacao. Read more about our process here.

  • Yes absolutely! It is the purest, single estate, rainforest grown, directly traded, heirloom cacao beans that we made into traditional drinking cacao.

    We have hand-sorted, lightly roasted and gently ground the cacao beans ourselves putting a lot of pure intention, deep gratitude and heart felt love into every single bean we have held in our hands because we believe all things are energy and this energy will do you good!   • Yes it is one of the most nutrient dense plant foods on the Planet.

    Cacao contains more than 300 antioxidants, minerals and natural neuro-productive chemicals.

    It has the highest magnesium content of any edible plant + lots of other beneficial substances.

    Actually we believe it will do you much better on a daily basis than coffee.

  • There are several ways to brew cacao, ranging from slow to super fast and with a less or more complicated ingredient list. See our “Brew” section for detailed brewing guides depending on your preferences.

  • The main difference is what we didn’t add and how we didn’t process it as well as the quality of the cacao beans we used.

  • YES we do!

    Just choose your location during checkout and you will find the best available shipping options to your region.

  • You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and in Denmark Mobile Pay.

  • In Denmark shipping costs 54-72 DKK.

    For international orders please see your rate during checkout.

  • We ship twice a week in Denmark so you can expect to receive your package within 4-5 days max.

    For international orders expect up to one week depending on your location.

  • If you wish to return your product you can do so within 7 days from you receive you package but only if the bag is unbroken and unopened.

    You can return it with to the following address and you have to pay the shipping cost.
